Legal
Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms carefully. They explain how FC Trenches works, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you, including the rules for FT, Competitions, Prize Pools and Prize Redemption.
1. About these Terms and about us
These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern your access to and use of FC Trenches at fctrenches.com and its sub-domains, together with every feature, page, service and communication we provide through it (together, the Platform).
The Platform is operated by [Registered company name], a company registered in England and Wales under company number [Company number], whose registered office is at [Registered office address](we, us, our). You can contact us at info@fctrenches.com. Emails we send to you come from no-reply@fctrenches.com, which does not accept replies; please write to info@fctrenches.com instead.
By ticking the box to accept these Terms when you create an account, or by otherwise using the Platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us on these Terms. We record the date and time at which you accepted them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
The following also form part of your agreement with us and should be read alongside these Terms:
- our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data and use cookies;
- the rules, format, Entry Fee, Prize Pool, prize split, eligibility requirements and (where applicable) squad requirements displayed for each Competition at the point you enter it (the Competition Rules); and
- any additional terms shown to you at the point you purchase FT or subscribe to Trenches Pass.
If there is a conflict, the Competition Rules prevail for that Competition, and otherwise these Terms prevail.
These Terms are available in English only. You can save or print a copy at any time from this page. We do not file a separate copy of the agreement for each user, but the version in force on any date is identified by the version number and date shown at the top of this page.
Nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the laws that apply to you and that cannot be excluded or limited by contract (your statutory rights).

3. A platform for skill-based competition
FC Trenches is a competitive esports platform. Competitions are contests of skill: the outcome of each match is decided by how the players taking part perform in the Game against each other, not by chance.
You can only enter Competitions in which you play yourself. The Platform does not allow you to commit FT on the result of a match in which you are not a participant, and you must not use the Platform, or arrange anything with other users, for that purpose.
Prizes reward performance. The Entry Fee, Prize Pool and prize structure for a Competition are published before you enter, and Prizes are awarded according to the results achieved in that Competition.
Rank progression on the Platform is earned. Players start at Bronze, and rank is gained by winning Tournaments in accordance with the rank thresholds published on the Platform. Rank determines which Tournaments you may enter, so that you compete against players at a comparable level.
4. Who may use the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account or use the Platform. When you sign up you are asked to confirm that you are 18 or over. If we have reason to believe that a user is under 18, we will close the Account; any FT purchased will be dealt with in accordance with the law and any FT obtained through Competitions may be forfeited.
You must have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and you must not have been previously banned from the Platform.
The Platform is available internationally, but only where taking part in skill-based competitions with entry fees and prizes is lawful for you. It is your responsibility to check and comply with the laws that apply to you where you live and where you access the Platform. You must not use the Platform to take part in paid Competitions, purchase FT or request Prize Redemption from any country, state, province or territory where doing so is prohibited or restricted by law (an Excluded Territory).
We may at any time, and without being obliged to give reasons, restrict or decline access to the Platform, or to particular features such as paid Competitions or Prize Redemption, in any territory. You must not use a VPN, proxy or other means to hide your location or to circumvent any such restriction.
You must not use the Platform if you are subject to financial sanctions, or if you are acting on behalf of any other person.
To play, you need your own lawful copy of the Game, a compatible console or computer, the relevant platform account and any online subscription the Game requires. You must comply with the terms of Electronic Arts and of your console or PC platform at all times. We are not responsible for any action they take against you.
5. Your account
To create an Account you must provide a username, a valid email address, a password, your EA ID and your gaming platform, confirm that you are 18 or over and accept these Terms. Everything you give us must be true, accurate and complete, and you must keep it up to date.
You must verify your email address before you can log in. Some features, including Prize Redemption, are only available while your email address is verified.
One person, one Account. You may hold only one Account. You must not create, use, buy, sell, share, lend or transfer an Account, or let anyone else play, compete or log in using your Account. Accounts created or operated in breach of this clause may be closed, and any related Competition results may be reviewed under the section Fair play.
Your EA ID is permanent. Opponents and Staff rely on your EA ID to confirm who played a match, so once it has been set it cannot be changed from your Account, and each EA ID can be linked to only one Account. If it is wrong, contact us at info@fctrenches.com. You may change your username once every 14 days (during that period you may switch back to your previous username). Your previous usernames may continue to appear in historic records, in messages you sent under them, and to Staff.
You must keep your password secret and must not reuse it on other services. Logins expire automatically. You can see where your Account is logged in and log out other devices from your settings, and we may email you about sign-ins from a new device.
You are responsible for everything done through your Account unless it results from our failure to take reasonable care. Tell us at info@fctrenches.com immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your Account; we may temporarily lock the Account while we investigate.
We may ask you to verify your identity, age, location or the ownership of a payment or payout account at any time, including before Prize Redemption. If you do not provide the information reasonably requested, we may suspend features of your Account until you do.
How we contact you. We only contact you through the Platform or from an email address ending in @fctrenches.com. Staff will never ask for your password or for any code we send you, and will never ask you to send FT, money or gift cards. Requests to change your Account details (including EA ID corrections) must come from the email address on your Account, and we may ask for further verification before acting on them.
6. FT (Fut Trenches tokens)
FT are digital credits that can be used only on the Platform, to pay Entry Fees and to receive Prizes. Your FT balance is shown in your Account, and every movement of FT is recorded in your transaction history.
FT can be added to your Account in the following ways:
- by purchasing an FT bundle (see Purchasing FT);
- by winning a Prize in a Competition;
- by the return of an Entry Fee where a Competition or match is cancelled or your entry is cancelled in accordance with these Terms; and
- by any other award we make and describe to you at the time.
FT are not legal tender, are not a bank account or a store of money, earn no interest and have no value outside the Platform, except that FT can be exchanged through Prize Redemption in accordance with these Terms.
FT cannot be transferred, sold, given or lent to another user or Account, and may not be traded outside the Platform. Any attempt to do so is a breach of these Terms.
FT that you purchase are intended for paying Entry Fees. Prize Redemption is designed for FT won as Prizes, and we may decline or limit requests to redeem FT that were purchased rather than won.
Our records of FT movements are the primary record of your balance. If FT are credited to or removed from your Account in error (for example because of a technical fault or an incorrectly recorded result), we may correct the error, and we will tell you if we do.
We may remove FT that were obtained in breach of these Terms (for example through cheating, collusion, multiple Accounts, or a payment that is later reversed). Except as set out in these Terms, we will not remove FT that you obtained legitimately.
7. Purchasing FT
You may purchase FT in the bundles listed in the Store. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include any tax we are required to charge. If your card or account is in another currency, your bank or card provider may apply its own exchange rate and fees, which are your responsibility.
The number of FT in each bundle and its price are shown before you pay.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, currently Stripe, on its secure checkout page. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe’s terms.
A purchase is complete, and our contract to supply that bundle is formed, when your payment is confirmed to us by the payment provider. The FT are then added to your Account automatically and we notify you. If a payment method confirms payment later (for example a bank payment), the FT are added when the payment is received.
Your right to cancel. FT are digital content supplied immediately. By completing a purchase, you ask us to supply the FT straight away and you acknowledge that, once the FT have been added to your Account, you lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to an online purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights if the FT supplied are faulty or not as described, for example if they are not credited to your Account; in that case contact us at info@fctrenches.com and we will put it right or refund you.
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card provider (a chargeback) after FT have been credited, or a payment is otherwise reversed, we may remove the corresponding FT from your Account. If your balance is not sufficient, the shortfall is a debt you owe us, and we may suspend or close your Account and any Account we reasonably believe is linked to it, and recover the amount. Please contact us first so that we can help.
8. Trenches Pass
Trenches Pass is an optional monthly membership which unlocks additional features on the Platform. The features included are those described on the Trenches Pass page at the time you subscribe. At present these include priority access to Tournament registration (including any early-registration window and any seats reserved for Trenches Pass holders shown for a Tournament) and access to certain community features. A feature described on that page as coming soon is not part of what you pay for until it is made available.
Trenches Pass costs US$5.99 per month, unless a different price is shown to you before you subscribe. It is charged through our payment provider, currently Stripe, on the day you subscribe and then automatically on the same day each month, until you cancel.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the Trenches Pass page using Manage billing. Cancellation stops future payments; your Pass remains active until the end of the month you have already paid for, and is not refunded for the remainder of that month except as set out in the next clause or where required by law.
14-day cooling-off period. If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of first subscribing by contacting us at info@fctrenches.com. Because you have asked for the Pass to start immediately, we will refund what you paid for the first month less a proportionate amount for the days on which the Pass was active.
If a renewal payment fails, our payment provider may retry it. If payment is not received, your Pass ends.
We may change the price or features of Trenches Pass. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase, by email or in-app notification, before it applies to you, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Trenches Pass is personal to you and does not entitle you to FT, a Prize or a seat in any Competition beyond the priority access described on the Trenches Pass page.
9. Competitions: general rules
Before you enter a Competition we show you its Entry Fee, Prize or Prize Pool, prize split, format, game mode, platform and any eligibility or squad requirements. By entering, you agree to the Competition Rules for that Competition and authorise us to take the Entry Fee from your FT balance.
Prize Pools are fixed. Entry Fees are paid for taking part in a Competition and for the organising, hosting and refereeing services we provide. The Prize Pool is set and provided by us, is published before entry, and does not depend on the number of entrants or on the Entry Fees received.
Some Competitions are limited to players of particular ranks, platforms, regions or game modes, and some Tournaments open early, or reserve seats, for Trenches Pass holders. Those limits are shown on the Competition. You may only enter a Competition you are eligible for.
Where Competition Rules include squad requirements (for example limits on player ratings, Icons or card types), you must confirm at entry that your squad complies and must keep to those requirements in every match. Breaches can be reported through the dispute process, and Staff may ask for screenshots or recordings of your squad.
You are responsible for being available, connected and ready to play at the times shown. Delays caused by your own equipment, connection, the Game, or the services of Electronic Arts or your console or PC platform do not entitle you to a replay, a refund or an extension, although Staff may grant one at their discretion.
If we cancel a Competition, or a match is cancelled before it is played in accordance with these Terms, every Entry Fee taken for it is returned to the players’ FT balances in full.
Prizes are credited to the winner’s FT balance once the result is final. Results are final when both players have reported the same result, when they are settled under the timing rules below, or when Staff decide a dispute. Final results and Prizes remain subject to review under Fair play.
Your username, rank, results, statistics and Prizes won may be displayed publicly, including on leaderboards, brackets, your profile and in share previews of Competition pages.
10. Tournaments
Each Tournament shows its size, Entry Fee, Prize Pool and prize split, start time, rank group, platform, format and Competition Rules. Registration may open earlier for Trenches Pass holders, and a number of seats may be reserved for them until the Tournament begins; seats are otherwise allocated in order of entry.
You may cancel your entry while the Tournament is still open for registration and receive your Entry Fee back in full. The number of times you may enter the same Tournament is limited. Once the Tournament has started, Entry Fees are not returned except where the Tournament is cancelled.
Tournaments are played in a fixed knockout bracket. Each match is played in a private match room open only to the two players and Staff.
No-shows. If one player has readied up and the other has not done so within 15 minutes (or any other time shown in the match room), the ready player may claim a walkover and progresses. If a match has no agreed result 40 minutes after it was scheduled or kicked off, it is sent to Staff for review, and Staff may decide the result, order a replay or award a walkover.
Prizes are paid according to the published prize split. Unless the Tournament states otherwise, the whole Prize Pool goes to the champion. Where a prize split includes a third-place share and there is no third-place match, that share is divided equally between the two losing semi-finalists. Fractions of an FT are rounded down and the remainder is added to the champion’s Prize.
Winning a Tournament counts towards your rank. Only champions receive a rank win. Finalists and semi-finalists do not.
11. Pro Clubs
You may belong to one club at a time. A club’s captain and its other leaders (such as a sub-captain) manage its members, invitations, requests to join and Competition registrations. Club names, crests and descriptions are User Content.
To enter a Pro Clubs tournament, a club registers a team and each registered player pays the per-player Entry Fee from their own FT balance within the payment window shown. If the team does not complete registration within that window, the registration expires and every Entry Fee already paid for it is returned in full.
Pro Clubs Prizes are paid per player as published for the Competition, which may depend on how many players the winning team registered. Each eligible player’s share is credited to their own FT balance.
In Pro Clubs club-versus-club matches, the Entry Fee shown is paid by the club’s captain when the match is made. Both captains must confirm within the time shown in the match room, or the match is cancelled and both Entry Fees are returned. Each club must then report the result within the reporting window shown. If both clubs report the same result, the winning club receives the Prize; if the reports conflict, the match goes to dispute; if only one club reports in time, the match is sent to Staff for review; and if neither reports, the match is cancelled and both Entry Fees are returned.
Every player in a team must hold their own Account, be eligible under these Terms and play only on their own EA account.
12. Match disputes and Staff decisions
A dispute is opened automatically when match reports conflict, and may also be raised for a suspected breach of the Competition Rules or of the section Fair play. While a match is under dispute, no Prize is paid for it.
Staff will review the dispute fairly and may ask either player for evidence, such as screenshots, recordings or stream footage. You must answer honestly and promptly. A player who does not respond within the time Staff reasonably set may have the dispute decided on the information available.
Staff may confirm a result, reverse it, order a replay, award a walkover or cancel the match and return the Entry Fees. A Staff decision is final for the purposes of the Competition, but if you believe it was wrong you may ask us to reconsider it by writing to info@fctrenches.com within 14 days, explaining why. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Reports about other players. You may report another player for misconduct. Reports must be made honestly. Making a knowingly false report may result in a warning, suspension or permanent ban.
13. Fair play
Competitive integrity is the foundation of the Platform. You must not, and must not attempt to:
- use cheats, hacks, modified game files, macros, bots, exploits or any software or hardware that gives an unfair advantage;
- agree the result of a match in advance, deliberately lose or underperform, or otherwise collude with any player (match-fixing);
- let another person play on your EA ID or Account, play on someone else’s, or have someone else “boost” your rank or results;
- hold or use more than one Account, or deliberately manipulate your rank to play against weaker opponents;
- report a false result, submit altered or misleading evidence, or make a false report about another player;
- intentionally disconnect, delay or quit a match to avoid a result;
- abuse refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, promotions or errors in the Platform to obtain FT;
- breach the squad requirements or other Competition Rules you accepted; or
- interfere with the Platform, its security, its other users or any service it depends on, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
We may investigate suspected breaches. To do so, Staff may review any relevant information, including match records, reports, messages and content on the Platform, transaction history, login and device records and any evidence provided, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may change our security, fraud-prevention and review measures at any time, and we do not publish the criteria we use.
Where we reasonably conclude that you have breached this section, we may do any one or more of the following:
- void, reverse or alter the results of affected matches and Competitions;
- remove Prizes and FT obtained through the breach and, where appropriate, award them to the player who should have received them;
- reset your rank or statistics;
- suspend your Account or restrict features, including Prize Redemption, while we investigate; and
- permanently ban your Account and any other Account we reasonably believe you control.
Our response will be proportionate to the seriousness of the breach. We may also report conduct to the police or other authorities.
This section applies even after a result is final or FT have been redeemed. If Prizes or FT obtained through a breach have already been redeemed, the amount redeemed is a debt you owe us and we may recover it.
If you discover a security vulnerability in the Platform, report it to us at info@fctrenches.com and do not use it or tell anyone else about it.
14. Prize Redemption
You may ask to redeem FT held in your Account for a payment to you, subject to this section and to the section FT. The redemption value is US$1.00 for each FT.
To request Prize Redemption:
- your email address must be verified and your Account must be in good standing;
- you must redeem at least 10 FT, in whole FT;
- you must choose one of the payout methods we offer at the time (currently PayPal, bank transfer or cryptocurrency) and give accurate payout details for an account that belongs to you;
- you must confirm the request with the one-time code we send to your verified email address. Never share this code with anyone; Staff will never ask for it; and
- you may have only one Prize Redemption request pending at a time.
When you confirm a request, the FT are reserved from your balance. Requests are reviewed before payment. We aim to process requests within 3 to 5 business days; some requests need additional checks and may take longer.
You may cancel a request while it is still pending, and the reserved FT return to your balance. If we decline a request, the reserved FT return to your balance and, where we can, we give reasons, unless doing so would compromise fraud prevention, security or a legal obligation.
We may delay, hold or decline a request where we reasonably consider it necessary, including where:
- we need to verify your identity, age, location or ownership of the payout account;
- the FT concerned are the subject of an open dispute, an investigation under Fair play or a payment dispute;
- the request appears to relate to fraud, money laundering, sanctions, or an Excluded Territory; or
- the source or pattern of FT, purchases, entries or Prizes on the Account gives us reason to believe the request is not a genuine redemption of Prizes, or there is any other reason we reasonably consider indicates a risk of fraud or loss.
We do not currently charge a fee for Prize Redemption. Your payout provider, bank or the relevant blockchain network may charge its own fees or apply exchange rates, which are your responsibility. We may require payment to the method or account used to purchase FT, or decline a particular payout method. Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed: check your wallet address and network carefully. We are not responsible for a payment lost because the details you gave were wrong.
You are responsible for any tax due on Prizes you redeem, and for any reporting the law where you live requires.
15. Community, chat and your content
The Platform includes a community feed, comments, public and group chats, club chat, match chat, stream chat and direct messages with friends. Some community features are available only to Trenches Pass holders.
You are responsible for your User Content. You must not post, upload or send anything that:
- is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or abusive;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises or endangers anyone under 18;
- shares another person’s personal information without their permission;
- infringes anyone’s copyright, trade marks or other rights;
- is spam, a scam, malware or advertising we have not approved, or directs users to services that breach these Terms; or
- impersonates any person, including Staff.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or compress) and distribute it for the purpose of operating, providing and promoting the Platform. This licence ends when your User Content is deleted from the Platform, except for copies we are entitled to keep under our Privacy Policy and content others have already shared.
Staff may hide, remove or restrict access to User Content, and may suspend or ban Accounts, where we reasonably believe the content or conduct breaches these Terms or the law.
You can report content or users from the Platform or by emailing info@fctrenches.com. We review reports and act in line with these Terms and the law. If we remove your content or restrict your Account, or you are unhappy with how we handled a report, you can complain by emailing info@fctrenches.com.
16. Creators, streaming and coaching
You may apply to join our creator programme. We decide applications at our discretion and may remove creator status if these Terms are breached.
You can link a Twitch account by signing in to Twitch. We request no permissions over your Twitch account: we use the sign-in only to confirm which channel is yours, and we do not keep your Twitch access token. Once linked, we check your stream status in order to show your stream on the Platform and in connection with Tournament matches. Your use of Twitch is subject to Twitch’s own terms.
Coaching listings are created by users. Any coaching arrangement is between the coach and the player; we are not a party to it, we do not currently process payment for coaching, and we do not guarantee the quality of any coaching.
17. Intellectual property and third parties
The Platform, including its software, design, logos, graphics and text (other than User Content), belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it only as permitted by these Terms, and must not copy, scrape, reverse engineer or create derivative works from it.
FC Trenches is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Electronic Arts Inc., EA SPORTS, FIFA, any football club, league or player, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Valve or Twitch. All third-party names and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the games and services concerned.
The Platform relies on third-party services (for example payment, hosting, email and streaming providers). Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
18. Suspension, closing your account and ending these Terms
Closing your Account. You can delete your Account from your profile by confirming your password, except while it is under review or a match you played is in dispute. When you do:
- any pending Prize Redemption is cancelled and the reserved FT return to your balance;
- you are logged out on every device and can no longer log in;
- deleting your Account does not cancel a Trenches Pass subscription. Please cancel it first using Manage billing on the Trenches Pass page, or contact us at info@fctrenches.com;
- your personal details are removed or anonymised as described in our Privacy Policy; and
- any FT left on the Account remain recorded in our books but can no longer be used by you on the Platform. Please redeem any FT you are entitled to redeem before you delete your Account. If you have deleted your Account with FT remaining, contact us at info@fctrenches.com; we will need to verify that you were the account holder, and any payment will be made only to a payout account verified as yours.
Deleting your Account does not end any investigation, dispute, payment dispute or Prize Redemption review in progress. We may keep the information needed to complete it and to prevent fraud and ban evasion, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our rights. We may suspend or restrict your Account, or end these Terms and close your Account, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or a risk to other users or to the Platform. Except where there is a legal or security reason not to, we will tell you why. Suspended Accounts cannot enter Competitions or request Prize Redemption while the suspension lasts.
If we close your Account for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, you may redeem the FT you are entitled to redeem in accordance with Prize Redemption.
We may stop providing the Platform, or any part of it, by giving at least 30 days’ notice by email or in-app notification. If we stop providing the Platform altogether, you will be able to redeem the FT you are entitled to redeem, and any unused period of Trenches Pass will be refunded.
Clauses which by their nature are intended to continue after these Terms end (including those on FT obtained in breach, Prize Redemption, liability and governing law) continue to apply.
19. Availability and changes to the Platform
We work to keep the Platform available and secure, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free from errors. We may suspend it for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. Where a Competition is affected, we will act fairly, which may mean pausing it, extending deadlines, ordering replays or cancelling it and returning Entry Fees.
We may update and change the Platform, including Competitions, ranks, features and the way they work, to reflect changes in our players’ needs, our business, technology or the law. We will not change a Competition’s Entry Fee or Prize Pool once anyone has entered it, except to cancel the Competition and return Entry Fees.
20. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time you accepted these Terms, both we and you knew it might happen.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights, including your rights in relation to digital content and services under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The Platform is provided for domestic and private use. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
We are not responsible for:
- the Game, or the online services of Electronic Arts, your console or PC platform, your internet provider or Twitch;
- the conduct of other users, including what happens in a match you play against them, except where we are at fault;
- losses caused by your breach of these Terms, by someone using your password, or by payout details you gave us; or
- events outside our reasonable control, provided we take reasonable steps to minimise their effect.
Subject to the clauses above, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in that period and (b) the value, at the redemption value, of any FT in your Account that we have wrongly failed to credit or redeem.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms to reflect changes in the law, in good practice, or in the Platform and the way we run it. Each version is identified by its number and date at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless a shorter period is needed for legal or security reasons. If you do not accept the change, you may close your Account before it takes effect (and redeem the FT you are entitled to redeem). If you continue to use the Platform after the change takes effect, the new Terms will apply to you.
Changes never apply to a Competition you entered before the change was published.
22. Complaints, governing law and general terms
If you have a complaint, please email info@fctrenches.com with your username and as much detail as you can. We aim to acknowledge it within 5 business days and to respond fully within 14 days. We will try to resolve any disagreement with you quickly and informally before either of us takes any other step.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your home courts. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.
If any court decides that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. If we do not enforce our rights immediately, that does not prevent us from doing so later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another organisation, and will tell you if we do; this will not reduce your rights.
These Terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce any of them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These Terms, together with the documents referred to in the section About these Terms, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Platform.
